- My mother has been hospitalized for several weeks and is finally expected to be released within the next week or so. Housekeeping was never her strong suit (LOL!), and unfortunately her apartment was dirtier than usual due to illness. I thought it would be great for her to come home to a clean apartment, so I decided to call a professional. Then I realized that after being hospitalized for several weeks it would be healthier to find a company that used "green" products. I have always had good luck with Angie's List and when I saw the great reviews that The Green Mop received I decided to contact them by email. Yesenia responded to me within 2-3 hours, and we corresponded back and forth several time before we settled on a date. Mustafa and the two ladies who were with him were very friendly, professional and courteous. They got to work as soon as they arrived and they did the work cheerfully and without complaint. How's that for great customer service? My Mother's apartment looked like a new place after they finished! They also did an incredible job cleaning the inside of the refrigerator and the microwave, which frankly had seen better days. I know that my mother will be as thrilled as I am with their work, and I am hoping to convince her to let them return on a more regular basis while she continues to recuperate from her illness.

- I called late on a Friday evening and got a return phone call within thirty minutes. I scheduled a meeting for that Sunday afternoon to meet Mia and get an estimate for an initial cleaning of my home and discuss an ongoing cleaning schedule. Mia arrived on time and actually called me a few minutes earlier to let me know she was almost there. We had a very good first meeting, where she walked me around my home and described in detail what her cleaning crew would do and asked me specific questions related to my needs, such as changing the sheets, etc. I assumed I would need and they would suggest an ongoing cleaning schedule of every other week, but Mia recommended that I start with every three weeks. She said she would be willing to do every two weeks, but didn't think I would need it. She said that her cleaning crew could make some recommendations after several ongoing cleanings, but she thought this would save me money and recommended that. We scheduled the initial cleaning for that Tuesday afternoon. When I returned home from work, my home was sparkling. It smelled incredible and everything we discussed was cleaned beautifully. I am waiting now for my next cleaning.

- A 2-person crew (Claudia and Mauro) spent 4 hours cleaning my house before my movers arrived with all of my furniture. The job included washing all of the floors, cabinets, doors, shelves, walls, and kitchen appliances (oven and refrigerator/freezer).

- The Green Mop did a great job from start to finish. Mia was extraordinarily accommodating in scheduling a last-minute job that had a date change a few times. She was incredibly responsive via email. As for the job itself, Mauro and Claudia arrived on time and did a fantastic job. They cleaned areas of the house that I completely overlooked when I first walked them through. They were very pleasant and nice, and extremely diligent. Overall, a great experience.

- A 3-person team spent the better of 5 hours cleaning my 1200 square foot town home that was full of cat hair and dust. Starting at the top of the house they vacuumed, dusted and damp mopped. They made a good effort to get the dirt behind the radiator. Dusted base boards, vacuumed cob webs, dusted window transoms and made every effort to make my bedroom look finished even though I advised it was not necessary to change the bed linens. Equal time was spent on the second bedroom and the bathroom which had a lot of construction dust.

- Good communication and flexible scheduling. My 25-year-old kitchen looks brand new. The estimated time from the walk through was underestimated but I asked for a worse case scenario which turned out to be the case. This was well worth the price. When something fell over or was knocked down, they informed me immediately. All of these were items that were not very well secured like the bathroom mirror. The team worked consistently and the vacuum cleaner was rarely ever off. I will have them return.
